NDuR 51590 Water-Resistant Button Compass

The NDuR 51590 Button Compass is a water resistant, liquid-filled compass measuring 0.75 inches across, about the diameter of a US penny. Its small size makes it a convenient addition to a survival tin, backpack pocket or compact outdoor kit. The manufacturer describes this model as water resistant rather than waterproof, so it is intended for general outdoor use instead of submersion.

Liquid filling helps steady the direction indicator, making a miniature compass easier to read during a quick check. The simple dial is useful for identifying general direction when a full-size navigation compass is not available. Because of its size, it is better suited to quick orientation than to following a precise bearing over a long distance.

The button-style housing takes very little space alongside other compact emergency supplies. It can also serve as a backup direction reference on a hike or at camp, where a small compass is easier to carry than a larger instrument. The listed model is GSA and TAA compliant, and you can compare other designs in our navigation compasses selection.
