The Mastervolt AC Master 12/700 delivers 700W continuous of pure sine wave 120V AC from a 12V bank, with a variable-speed fan.

A variable-speed fan rather than a fixed one is worth having on a boat, where inverter noise is heard at close quarters. At light loads the fan slows or stops, so the inverter is silent when running a laptop and only audible when working hard. A fixed-speed fan runs at full noise regardless.

Automatic power-saving mode conserves battery capacity during light use by reducing consumption when little is drawn. That matters on a boat at anchor, where an inverter left on continuously is a slow drain on the house bank.
