Maretron 4M Micro Double-Ended Network Cordset

Maretron double-ended cordsets are used for trunk or drop lines on an NMEA 2000 network, making for a secure connection and simple, time-saving installation compared to wiring and crimping connectors by hand. The connectors are keyed for error-free connection and waterproof for continued operation even while submerged in the bilge, a real consideration on a boat where cable runs often pass through wet compartments.

A nickel-plated brass coupling nut pairs with gold-plated brass contacts, giving corrosion resistance at both the mechanical and electrical connection points rather than one without the other. That combination matters for long-term reliability, since a corroded contact can cause intermittent network dropouts that are genuinely frustrating to track down after the fact.
