The Magpul MOE M-LOK Hand Guard in Flat Dark Earth is the mid-length MOE handguard in a tan color for AR-15 rifles. Mid-length gas systems are common on 16-inch barrels, and this handguard fits them. It drops into the factory cap and delta ring.
The front lip and side extensions keep heat from the gas block off your hand. The top rear is relieved for many optic mounts. M-LOK slots at three positions take direct-attach accessories. A riveted aluminum heat shield sits inside the polymer shell.
It fits most direct-impingement and piston AR-15s with mid-length handguards. Check your gas system length before ordering, since the lengths do not interchange. Use a handguard removal tool to pull back the delta ring, which makes the swap much easier. The MOE shape is fuller in the hand than a round handguard. Matching FDE grips and stocks are in our gun parts and accessories.
