The Magpul MOE M-LOK Hand Guard in black is the mid-length drop-in MOE handguard for AR-15 rifles. Mid-length handguards are longer than carbine handguards, giving more room for your support hand. It replaces the standard two-piece handguard. Mid-length gas systems are popular on 16-inch barrels because they tend to run with a softer recoil impulse than carbine systems.
It installs in the factory handguard cap and delta ring without removing the barrel nut. The polymer is reinforced and heat resistant, with an aluminum heat shield inside. M-LOK slots on the sides and bottom hold lights and accessories. A front lip and side extensions block heat from the gas block.
Measure from the receiver to the front sight base, or check your barrel's gas system, before ordering. Black matches most AR uppers and furniture. The top rear is relieved so it clears many optic mounts. Carbine and rifle-length versions are in our gun parts and accessories.
