Magpul DAKA R44 Black GRID Hard Rifle Case

The Magpul DAKA Hard Case R44 in black is a gas-charged polypropylene rifle case with Magpul's GRID organizer, made in the USA. The exterior is 48.0 x 19.7 x 6.5 inches, and the interior is 44.25 x 17.0 x 5.5 inches, about 53.5 liters. It holds up to two 16-inch rifles or heavy carbines plus gear.

It comes with eight triple blocks and eight double blocks, and the center GRID panel can be cut down or removed for items up to 4.25 inches wide. Two push-button cam latches each have a lock pass-through for a 5/16-inch shackle, and four Velcro straps are included to keep locks from rattling. The gasket seals out dust and moisture and equalizes pressure on its own.

Ball-bearing wheels with rubber overmolding roll smoothly, and two hinged handles plus a third fixed handle let the case stand on end. Bumper zones on the corners double as storage pockets, and nesting lugs let cases stack. Find soft cases that nest inside it in our firearm cases and range bags.
