The Magpul DAKA Hard Case R44 in Flat Dark Earth is the R44 hard rifle case in a tan finish. FDE stands out in airport baggage areas and matches tan rifles and gear. It weighs about 19.4 pounds empty and 21.4 pounds with the GRID organizer.
The GRID blocks are expanded polypropylene, which does not trap moisture or dirt and can be rearranged without tools. Two recesses in the shell fit ratchet straps for tying the case down in a truck bed or trailer. The rounded corners are double walled for impact protection.
Lock both latches with padlocks for air travel, and use the fixed third handle to stand the case upright in line. It holds up to two standard 16-inch rifles, and the DAKA SR44 soft case nests inside when the GRID is out. See more cases in our firearm cases and range bags.
