Magpul DAKA Plano 36 in GRID Case Organizer

The Magpul DAKA GRID Organizer for the Plano All Weather 2 36-inch case brings Magpul's GRID system to a popular Plano case. The kit holds six triple and six double GRID blocks along with replacement foam for the base. The organizer is made for the AW2 36-inch case only. It lets you upgrade an affordable Plano case with Magpul's reconfigurable interior.

A 36-inch case is a common size for carbines, short shotguns, and takedown rifles. GRID lets you hold those firearms firmly while still fitting magazines, a sling, and small accessories around them. Rearranging the blocks takes no tools. Blocks hold gear by compression, so items stay put when the case is carried on end. The material is lighter than most foam and keeps its shape in heat and cold. It works for optics and cameras as well as firearms.

The blocks are expanded polypropylene, which will not absorb water or gun oil. If you need a permanent spot for an odd-shaped item, a panel can be trimmed with a sharp knife. The removable center panel fits items about 4.25 inches wide. Keep optic turrets and controls clear of the blocks so they are not carrying the weight of nearby gear. The Plano case is not included. Close the lid and lift the case before travel to confirm nothing shifts. Wipe the blocks clean with a damp cloth. Find the 52-inch version and other organizers in our firearm cases and range bags.
