Magpul ASAP Black AR Ambidextrous Sling Attachment Point

The Magpul ASAP is an ambidextrous sling attachment point for AR rifles. It mounts at the rear of the lower receiver and gives a sling loop on both sides. That lets you carry the rifle on either shoulder.

It's popular with one-point slings and with shooters who switch shoulders. The attachment point sits close to the rifle's center line. A loop accepts Paraclips and similar hooks.

Installation involves the receiver extension and castle nut, so it's best done with the right tools. Magpul's Armorer's Wrench works with ASAP plates. Set the sling length with the unloaded firearm and confirm there is enough adjustment for both carry and the shooting positions you use. Browse more slings and swivels.
