Magpul MS1 Black Padded AR-15 Rifle Sling

The Magpul MS1 Padded Sling in black adds a sewn-in pad to Magpul's MS1 two-point sling for long days with a heavier rifle. The webbing changes width along its length, from 1.25 inches at the ends to about 1.875 inches across the shoulder. Inside the wide section is a closed-cell foam pad with a ripstop coating, so it does not soak up water or sweat.

A padded sling makes the biggest difference with a rifle carrying an optic, light, and suppressor, where a thin strap starts to dig in after an hour. Because the pad is part of the webbing, there is no separate pad to slide out of place or snag on gear. The whole sling weighs about 6.4 ounces, only slightly more than the standard MS1.

The MS1 slider still gives 10 inches of quick adjustment, and the overall length runs about 48 to 60 inches. QD swivels are not included, so plan on Magpul's Paraclip or QD swivel adapters if your rifle uses push-button sockets. Black suits most rifles and duty setups. Look through our slings and swivels for the mounting hardware.
