The Maglite ML25IT is an 8.6 inch black aluminum xenon flashlight giving 63 lumens with a 222 meter beam, running on three C cells.

Xenon rather than LED is the distinction, and there is a real reason to want it. A xenon filament gives a warmer, more continuous light that renders colors more naturally than most LEDs, which matters when judging what you are looking at. It also throws 222 meters on only 63 lumens, because a filament in a deep reflector concentrates a beam far more tightly than a broad LED emitter.

Candle mode removes the head so the lamp stands upright and lights a whole room, which turns a flashlight into a lantern. A spare xenon lamp is included, since a filament eventually burns out where an LED does not. Batteries are not included. Explore more handheld flashlights.
