The Lectrotab SX 9.5 x 10 Gunmetal Trim Tabs - 30-40 HP is a fully automatic trim and stabilization system for smaller powerboats that need better planing behavior without switches, pumps, or hydraulic lines. Nitrogen gas actuators hold the tabs down during acceleration to create stern lift, then allow the plates to rise as water pressure increases so the system reacts naturally to boat speed and changing load.

That automatic response can reduce bow rise, help the hull reach and stay on plane at lower speeds, and improve stability when passengers or gear affect the running attitude. Because the tabs continually respond to water pressure, the operator does not have to make repeated helm adjustments as the boat accelerates, turns, or encounters changing conditions.

The system can be tuned during installation so actuator load and plate position better match the individual hull and normal operating load. Composite SX versions are built to avoid rust and corrosion while molded tracking ribs support high-speed handling. Correct setup is important because the amount of stern lift depends on the actuator rating, tab angle, and boat application.
