The Lectrotab Smart Tabs II Series (16" x 10") is a fully automatic, self-adjusting trim tab that requires no switches, no hydraulics, and no operator adjustment while underway. It is designed for 23'-30' boats with up to 8,500 lbs gross weight to reduce planing speed, improve fuel economy, and smooth the ride without any pilot interface.

A nitrogen gas actuator holds the trim plate down during acceleration, providing lift at the stern until water pressure exceeds the actuator's load rating, at which point the tabs rise to horizontal and drag disappears automatically. This heavy-duty ST1610 Series uses two nitrogen gas actuators per plate instead of one, providing increased stern lift and twice the reactive dampening for boats under 10 feet in transom width, including low-profile fiberglass, aluminum, and RIB designs. Installation requires only a drill, a 3/16-inch bit, and a Phillips screwdriver, with no through-hull drilling and all mounting hardware, instructions, and templates included.
