Lectrotab Smart Tabs II 16 x 10 Self-Adjusting Trim Tabs

The Lectrotab Smart Tabs II 16 x 10 Self-Adjusting Trim Tabs is a fully automatic trim and stabilization system that reacts to boat speed, water pressure, and loading without requiring electric switches or hydraulic controls. Nitrogen gas actuators hold the plates down during acceleration to create stern lift, then allow them to rise as water pressure increases so tab influence decreases at higher speeds.

That speed-regulated response can reduce bow rise, help the boat reach and maintain plane at lower speeds, and improve stability when passenger or gear placement changes the running attitude. The system can be tuned during installation so the amount of lift and response better match the individual hull and normal operating load.

The heavy-duty Smart Tabs II configuration uses two gas actuators per plate to increase stern lift and reactive damping on larger trailerable boats. This version is intended for 23- to 30-foot boats.
