Lectrotab 12 x 12 Stainless Steel MLC-1 Trim Tab Kit

The Lectrotab 12 x 12 Stainless Steel MLC-1 Trim Tab Kit is a complete electric trim tab package built around 12" x 12" planes and Lectrotab’s self-contained actuators. It gives boaters direct control over stern lift so they can reduce bow rise, correct side-to-side list, improve planing behavior, and tune the hull for changing passenger loads, fuel, gear, and water conditions.

The 12-gauge 304 stainless steel tabs are paired with sealed, non-metallic actuators that operate without a hydraulic pump or fluid lines. The actuator design uses internal pressure equalization and a brake system to resist unwanted tab movement while underway or backing down. This version adds a MLC-1 microprocessor control with simultaneous tab movement and LED position indication that adapts to ambient light, giving the operator a coordinated way to make accurate adjustments from the helm.

Lectrotab supplies the major components as a matched kit, including two trim planes, two actuators with long attached cables, the appropriate helm control, and installation instructions. Recommended boat length is 18' to 32'.
