The Lectrotab 12V Heavy Duty Tab Actuator meets the needs of boats running at high speeds or in rough conditions, with a reinforced upper mounting boss and a 12-gauge stainless steel upper bracket. It is designed for boaters whose standard actuator has struggled to keep up with demanding conditions.
The actuator assembly is packaged in a non-metallic, permanently sealed housing with no components needed inside the boat, and unlike hydraulic trim tabs, there's no oil to leak out. An internal pressure equalization system and brake system keep positioning accurate and prevent unwanted tab movement underway or when backing down, and every actuator is load tested to push 1000 pounds of force.
