The Lectrotab 12 x 18 Stainless Steel Trim Tab system is one of the larger Lectrotab kits, listed for boats from 20 to 40 ft. It uses 12-gauge 304 stainless steel planes driven by self-contained electric actuators. Larger planes give more lift for heavier boats and bigger loads.

Trim tabs let you bring the bow down, correct a list from uneven weight, and adjust the ride as fuel, gear, and passengers shift. Lectrotab actuators are sealed in non-metallic housings and run without a hydraulic pump, reservoir, or oil lines. An internal brake holds the tabs in position underway and while backing down.
