The Klaken Ridge has a 3.54-inch D2 blade in a black finish with a black G10 handle, a liner lock.
D2 is a semi-stainless tool steel, high in carbon for edge retention and carrying enough chromium to resist most corrosion without being fully stainless. It holds a working edge considerably longer than the budget stainless usual at this price and needs to be dried after it gets wet. Blackening the blade cuts glare and hides the marks a working knife picks up, and against black G10 the whole knife reads as a single dark unit.
G10 is fiberglass cloth cured in resin, dimensionally stable through heat, cold and damp where molded plastic can distort. A liner lock keeps the frame slim, so the knife has flat rather than filling a pocket. Explore more Modern EDC Linerlocks.
