S30V is a premium powder steel usually found on knives costing well over a hundred dollars, and putting it in a key organizer insert is unusual. On a chisel that hardness is the point, since the edge has to hold against material harder than a knife ever meets. A chisel handles scraping, gasket removal and paint work that would ruin a knife edge.
