Description

The Kershaw Emerson CQC-8K is the larger black tanto model in this group, carrying a 3.5 in 8Cr14MoV blade. The blade has a black finish and plain edge, while the handle uses black G10. A liner lock secures the blade after manual opening.

Its 3.5 in blade gives the CQC-8K a little more cutting length than the 3.25 in CQC-7K and CQC-4K. The liner-lock construction is another key difference because the other two models in this batch use frame locks. A thumb disk is provided as the listed opening mechanism.

The CQC-8K makes sense for a buyer who wants the Emerson-influenced styling in a larger all-black folding knife. Compare the longer tanto blade and liner lock carefully if you are deciding among the three related CQC models. For more choices related to the Emerson CQC-8K 3.5, browse tactical linerlock knives.

  • 3.5 in tanto blade
  • Black-finished 8Cr14MoV steel
  • Black G10 continues the CQC-8K's all-black tactical appearance
  • Liner lock with thumb-disk opening
