Kent's Oversized Type V Vinyl Dip Work Vest is a USCG-approved work vest for adults with a 42 to 68 inch chest. That oversized range fits larger workers and leaves room for heavy winter clothing underneath. The vinyl-dipped finish is tough, easy to wash down and highly visible on a commercial deck. It has a minimum of 17.5 lb of buoyancy.
An opening in the back accommodates most fall-arrest harnesses, so the vest can be worn with fall protection on bridges, piers and work over water at height. The shoulders and sides adjust to fit, and a heavy-duty belt wraps fully around the body with a chest strap above it. Reflective panels on the front and back help others see the wearer in low light. Together those details make it a practical choice for commercial and industrial crews.
Belts and straps use contrasting stitching, which makes it faster for a supervisor or inspector to confirm every strap is fastened during a vessel check. The vest is compatible with Kent's Radio Pocket #1519, so a handheld radio rides right on the vest where it's easy to reach.
