The Kent Ring Buoy (24", Orange) is molded from high impact linear low density polyethylene for extreme conditions and environments. It is designed for use on board commercial vessels, offshore installations, and yachts, with reflective tape and a replaceable encircling rope.
Providing a minimum of 16.5 lbs of buoyancy, this ring buoy is U.S. Coast Guard approved Type IV. Per 46 CFR guidelines, a vessel over 7.9 meters (26 feet) but not more than 19.8 meters (65 feet) must carry at least one 24-inch ring buoy, while vessels over 19.8 meters must carry a minimum of three.
