Description

The Ka-Bar Becker Harpoon has a 4.625-inch matte bronze 1095 Cro-Van carbon steel drop point blade at 9.375 inches overall, a brown handle and a sheath.

The harpoon name comes from the notch cut into the spine near the tip, which drops the point below the spine line and leaves a hooked shoulder behind it for catching and pulling material. Ethan Becker designed the line, and this is the smaller general-purpose knife in it rather than the heavy campanion.

Burnt bronze is an unusual finish for Ka-Bar, warmer than the black on the rest of the Becker range and less obviously tactical. 1095 Cro-Van is Ka-Bar's carbon steel with chromium and vanadium added, tougher than plain 1095 and holding an edge better. Explore more Camp and Field Knives.
