Jabsco Manual Marine Toilet Compact Bowl Raw Water

The Jabsco Manual Marine Toilet Compact Bowl (part 29090-5000) is a hand-pumped head that needs no electrical power at all. The compact bowl suits small boats, sailboats, and heads where space is tight. It rinses with raw water drawn through a seacock.

Jabsco's Twist 'n' Lock handle locks the pump down when not in use, which helps guard against siphoning and backflow. A lever next to the pump switches between flush mode, which brings in rinse water, and dry mode, which only empties the bowl. The pump self-primes, so the toilet can be installed above or below the waterline with the right vented loops.

Manual heads are simple to understand and fix, and Jabsco rebuild kits are easy to find. A few drops of vegetable oil in the bowl, pumped through now and then, help keep the seals soft. Avoid harsh chemicals and paper that does not break down quickly, since they wear seals and clog valves. The regular bowl version is in our marine toilets and sanitation systems.
