Description

The Jabsco Amazon Thrudeck Manual Bilge Pump is a hand-operated diaphragm pump that keeps working when the batteries are dead. It mounts through the deck or a bulkhead, so it can be pumped from the cockpit. It moves up to 11 GPM (50 L/min), takes 1-inch bore hose, and self-primes from the bilge pickup.

A manual pump is required equipment on many boats and a smart backup on any boat, since electric bilge pumps fail when batteries die or wiring corrodes. The diaphragm design passes debris better than many small electric pumps. Mount it where you can pump comfortably for a long stretch.

Run the pickup to the lowest point of the bilge, and keep the suction hose short and as straight as you can. Stow the handle where you can find it in a hurry, and test the pump with water a few times each season. The surface-mount bulkhead version is also in our bilge and water pumps.

  • Manual pump, no power needed
  • Up to 11 GPM (50 L/min)
  • Through-deck or bulkhead mounting
  • 1-inch bore hose
