Jabsco 4-Inch Heavy Duty Flexmount Blower

The Jabsco 4-Inch Heavy Duty Flexmount Blower (part 36770-0115) is a 115V AC model that moves about 250 CFM. It is rated for continuous duty, so it can run for hours from shore power or a generator. That makes it useful for cooling engine rooms during dockside work or keeping a large compartment ventilated. Some listings describe it as a DC model, but the -0115 suffix marks the 115-volt AC version.

The universal bracket lets the outlet rotate to match the hose route. Its housing is ignition protected and made of corrosion-resistant plastic. Running on AC keeps the load off the house batteries when the boat is plugged in. It is a good match for boats with large generators or dockside air conditioning, where extra engine room airflow helps keep equipment cool.

Wire it through a properly rated AC breaker with marine-grade cable. Use 4-inch hose and keep the run short and smooth. Clean dust and lint from the intake each season. Make sure the AC circuit has ground fault protection where required. If the boat also has a DC blower, label both switches clearly so the right one is used underway. Find DC blowers in boat outfitting.
