Icom HM-167 Waterproof Speaker Mic for M72 & M73

The Icom HM-167 is a lightweight, IPX7 waterproof speaker microphone built for marine users who need a compact handheld mic that can take spray and wet hands without hesitation. It's based on the earlier HM-165 design, refined into a smaller package that clips comfortably to a PFD strap or jacket.

The HM-167 is purpose-built for the Icom M72, M73, and M92 handheld VHF radios, along with the GM1600 GMDSS handheld, giving the operator a remote speaker and push-to-talk without pulling the radio itself out of a pocket or holster. That matters most on deck or in a dinghy, where a dropped or fumbled handheld is a real risk.
