GROCO BSA-2000 Bilge Strainer Adapter Kit

The GROCO BSA-2000 bilge strainer adapter kit is designed to connect a bilge pickup to compatible SBV-2000 and SSC-2000 service systems. It provides the hardware needed to turn those GROCO components into a practical pickup point for bilge-water removal during service or an emergency. Using the dedicated adapter keeps the connection organized and avoids improvising a loose hose at the seacock or flush fitting. The kit is particularly useful when the water that needs to be removed is in a remote bilge location rather than directly beside the engine intake.

The BSA-2000 uses a marine bronze fitting and includes the adapter connections required for the listed SSC and SBV applications. Its pickup body combines drilled openings at the top with cast slots along the side so water can enter even if one surface is partly obstructed. Mounting ears are built into the strainer body so it can be secured at the intended pickup location instead of moving freely in the bilge. An NPT connection provides the threaded interface to the rest of the service plumbing.
