GROCO 1-Inch NPT 316 SS In-Line Ball Valve

The GROCO IBV-1000-S adds an accessible shutoff point to a one-inch NPT marine fuel or water line. Its full-flow ball-valve arrangement is meant for a matching one-inch threaded system, not as a substitute for the smaller 3/4-inch IBV-750-S. The handle incorporates a square ratchet opening for additional leverage when a valve is tucked behind other equipment.

GROCO specifies a 316 stainless body, 304 stainless handle and trim, and PTFE sealing surfaces for this valve. The thumb-release locking mechanism helps prevent unintended handle movement, while a bonding attachment is provided for the installation. Manufacturer specifications include a 1000 WOG rating and UL listing for 15PR fuel or water applications.

The IBV-1000-S drawing gives A as 3.30 inches and B as 4.98 inches, so allow sufficient clearance for the larger valve body. Keep the handle reachable for routine exercising and inspection rather than burying it behind fixed structures.
