GROCO 1-1/2 Inch Bronze 90° Pipe-to-Hose Elbow Fitting

The GROCO PTHC-1500 pipe-to-hose fitting is designed to transition a threaded marine plumbing connection into a flexible hose run without adding a stack of adapters. This version uses a standard-flow passage appropriate to the fitting family. Its 90-degree geometry helps the installer route hose around machinery, tanks, or structural members while keeping the connection compact. The fitting uses a male NPT connection to hose, giving a straightforward interface between rigid threaded components and clamped hose.

For this material configuration, the fitting is not intended for potable-water systems, which is important when deciding where it belongs in a vessel's plumbing plan. The PTHC-1500 is made from bronze for marine plumbing service. The one-piece geometry also avoids the extra threaded joints that would be required to build the same direction change from several separate fittings. GROCO lists the fitting under UL 647B, and the connection is available within a broader size range so related runs can use consistent hardware.

• UL 647B listed marine fitting
• Single-piece layout reduces the number of threaded joints
• 90-degree pipe-to-hose transition
• Standard flow internal passage

Dry-fit the PTHC-1500 before final assembly so the hose approaches the barb naturally and is not forced into a tight bend. Use thread sealant compatible with the connected system, and support the hose so its weight and vibration are not carried entirely by the threaded fitting. After the system is put back into service, inspect the threaded joint and hose clamps for seepage and recheck them during routine maintenance.
