GROCO 1-Inch 90° Marine Hose Thru-Hull Fitting

The GROCO HTHC-1000-S 90-degree hose thru-hull turns the inside hose connection immediately after the hull penetration. This layout is useful where a straight barb would push the hose into a bulkhead, deck liner, or other structure before it could make a safe bend. It combines the thru-hull and elbow function in one assembly instead of requiring a separate interior elbow. The angled outlet can help reduce hose kinking and preserve usable space in compact plumbing compartments.

GROCO pairs a 316 stainless-steel thru-hull section with a bronze hose connection on the HTHC-1000-S. A clean orientation can reduce side load on the hose and make later clamp inspection easier. The fitting is UL 647B listed for marine use, and the formed 90-degree barb provides a dedicated clamping surface for the hose. Because the outlet direction is fixed, the installation should be planned around the actual hose route before the fitting is bedded in place.

Dry-fit the HTHC-1000-S from both sides of the hull so the exterior flange and interior barb end up in the intended orientation. Use appropriate bedding at the hull and secure the hose with marine-grade clamps positioned squarely on the barb.
