Description
The Frost Cutlery Choctaw 20th Anniversary has a satin stainless clip blade with etching in a gray pick bone handle with nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 3.75 inches.
Pick bone is worked with an irregular pitted surface rather than the parallel grooves of standard jigging, giving a rougher texture closer to weathered antler than to machined bone. Gray is an unusual color for it, since bone is normally dyed in ambers, browns and brighter shades, and gray reads closer to stone.
The blade etching marks this as an anniversary release rather than a standard production knife, which is what collectors of the series buy. The single clip blade opens on a nail nick over a slip joint, with no lock to release. Explore more Traditional Knives.
- Pick bone has an irregular pitted texture, not parallel jigging

- Blade etching marks it as an anniversary release
