Fireboy-Xintex RCM5 CO Alarm Relay Module

The Fireboy-Xintex RCM5 CO Alarm Relay Module adds an automatic shutdown function to compatible Xintex detection systems. It monitors the signal from the connected detector and uses that signal to operate an internal relay. The relay can then deactivate a generator or another connected device when the detection system reaches the condition that calls for shutdown.

The RCM5 is intended for Xintex interconnect models, so detector compatibility should be confirmed before installation. Its relay-control approach allows the detection device to trigger another circuit without requiring the operator to respond first. That makes it useful where automatic equipment shutdown is part of the onboard safety plan.

The module uses a flame-retardant ABS enclosure and measures approximately 3.1 x 2.1 x 1.83 in. It accepts a 9 to 32V DC supply, covering a broad range of common onboard electrical systems. Installation should account for the connected detector, the device being switched, and the current requirements of the relay-controlled circuit.
