The Faria Beede Euro Black 2-Inch Tank Level Gauge for potable water reads tank level through a sending unit with variable resistance, where the amount of current flowing to ground shifts as the sender's resistance changes, deflecting the meter to show the level.
A perimeter-lit black dial carries bold white graphics under a black aluminum bezel, with a contoured white pointer and flat glass lens giving the Euro line a different look than Faria's chrome-bezel Chesapeake series.
