The Faria Beede Chesapeake Black 2-Inch Oil Pressure Gauge reads up to 80 PSI, carrying Chesapeake's perimeter-lit black dial with blue and white graphics, domed glass lens, and polished stainless bezel with a contoured white pointer.

An engine-mounted sender translates real oil pressure into an electrical signal: as pressure rises or falls, the sender's resistance shifts, changing how much current the gauge's meter sees and moving the needle to display an accurate, live reading.

Oil pressure is one of the first warning signs of a developing engine problem, whether that's a failing pump, a clogged filter, or simply low oil level, and catching a drop early on the gauge is far cheaper than discovering it after damage is already done. Mounting this gauge where it's actually visible during normal operation, not tucked below eye level, makes a real difference in whether that early warning actually gets noticed.
