Exploding Fish EVO-FX 30° Fixed Rod Holder

The Exploding Fish EVO-FX 30° Fixed Rod Holder uses the steepest fixed mounting angle in this EVO-FX group, positioning its 8.5 in tube at 30° for greater rod spread and aft clearance. The holder is rated for tackle up to 135 lb and is intended as a high-strength flush-mounted fishing station for offshore applications.

A rolled and polished seamless 316 stainless steel sleeve forms the rod-contact surface. Exploding Fish also uses polished 316 stainless steel for the base plate, top cover, and locking-lever components, with parts precision cast or machined for the assembly. UHMW polyethylene bearings provide resistance to wear, chemicals, compression, and shear, and rubber-blend isolation and sleeve-guide parts are formulated to withstand wear and UV exposure.

This 30° model has a 116 x 143 mm flange, 212 mm overall length, 197 mm shaft length, 51 mm shaft outside diameter, and M6 mounting. The steeper angle produces a listed sleeve swing diameter of 253 mm, so installation planning should account for the additional movement envelope. The package includes a full fastener set, isolation gasket, installation guide, swing template, and care and maintenance booklet.
