The Elk Ridge Trapper has mirror-finished 3Cr13 stainless clip and spey blades in a blue southwest acrylic handle with nickel silver bolsters, closing to 4.13 inches.

The trapper pairing splits the work: the clip blade takes general cutting while the spey blade's flat edge and rounded tip handle skinning and scraping without a point to puncture what lies beneath. Southwest acrylic is patterned rather than a single color, and acrylic gives a depth bone and wood cannot, since light passes into the material instead of stopping at the surface.
