Everyday cutting is the clip blade's part, while the spey blade's flatter edge and rounded tip is purpose-built for detail work and skinning tasks a pointed blade handles less cleanly, the same proven pairing that has made the trapper one of the most enduring traditional patterns. Jigging is the grooved texture pressed into the Delrin, giving the fingers something to hold where a smooth surface turns slick, and blue stands well apart from the browns and ambers that dominate most traditional lineups.
