Egis XD Series Single Flex 2 ACR-Relay, DTM Connector

The Egis XD Series Single Flex 2 ACR-Relay has two engine-isolation inputs and a DTM connector, rated 500A continuous and 1500A cranking.

Two independent start or engine-isolation inputs is what makes this suit a twin-engine boat. With both engines running, the relay can isolate the charge sources from each other so neither alternator fights the other, which a single-input ACR cannot manage.

That isolation also protects electronics during cranking, since the house bank stays separated while a starter draws. The voltage dip an engine start produces is what damages chartplotters and audio equipment gradually.
