EGIS 12V Dual-Battery Charge Manager

The EGIS 12V Dual Battery Charge Manager combines auxiliary-battery charge management with timed load shedding for add-on circuits. It monitors battery voltage and can disconnect accessory loads before they drain the battery too deeply, helping extend operational readiness while protecting sensitive onboard electronics from starting-event disturbances and optional under-voltage or over-voltage conditions.

Control can be based on the ignition key, alternator voltage sensing, or both. The unit provides adjustable off-delay and low-voltage cutoff settings, including delays from 0 seconds to 4 hours, switch-only mode, LVD-only mode, and 11.0V, 11.5V, or 12.0V cutoff points. A kill-switch input gives service technicians or emergency users a positive OFF command, and start-isolation input keeps selected loads separated from engine-cranking voltage sag and spikes.

The Charge Manager draws only 1.3 mA in the off state and includes onboard and remote diagnostic indicators for easier troubleshooting. A sealed plug with optional long wire leads reduces connection points and installation time, while high-temperature sealed construction and internal thermal-overload protection support demanding installations. The unit meets stringent OEM transient-protection requirements and carries a 4-year manufacturer warranty.
