The DMT Extra Fine Diamond Whetstone uses a 1,200-mesh diamond surface on a 6 in x 2 in stone. Its interrupted sharpening pattern is built to increase cutting action while clearing metal fines away from the main contact area, helping keep the working surface open during sharpening.

The stone is built to remain flat and requires only water as a lubricant, so oil is not necessary. A durable plastic storage box with mounting tabs is included for organization and bench use.
