Carbon monoxide is lethal enough that every boat deserves protection, and a standard household alarm falls short for onboard use, relying on internal batteries that often die during seasonal storage and easy to forget about. A local alarm alone also struggles to wake a sleeping crew member over engine noise underway. Digital Yacht's CO Alert is built specifically for maritime use, with NMEA 2000 integration so alerts pop up right on a compatible MFD.

CO Alert generates a standard NMEA 2000 alert PGN, enabling pop-up alarms on compatible displays (currently best supported by Garmin). Pair it with Digital Yacht's NavAlert monitoring device and 4GX/5GX internet access systems, and a CO Alert trigger can even send an SMS to a phone remotely.
