Davis WindTrak 15 Sailing Wind Vane

The Davis WindTrak 15 is a masthead wind vane for cruising and racing boats 15 feet and longer. It has a 15 inch vane, stands 12.75 inches tall and weighs just 3.6 ounces. A bird-proof spike extends another 10 inches above the vane to keep birds from landing on it.

The vane rides on a sapphire jewel suspension bearing. Its large fin and low inertia let it respond to light air. Fully adjustable tacking tabs help you read your angle to the wind, and reflector tape on the vane and tabs makes it visible day and night.

It includes a through-bolt or drill-and-tap mounting socket with a 5/16-18 stainless stud, washers and nut. Davis has wind tunnel tested WindTrak vanes to 80 knots.
