Davis WindTrak 10 Sport Sailing Wind Vane

The Davis WindTrak 10 Sport Sailing Wind Vane gives dinghy and sport-boat sailors a light, responsive visual reference for apparent wind direction. Its sapphire-jewel suspension bearing, large fin, low-inertia vane, and fully adjustable tacking tabs are designed to react easily to changing wind while remaining simple to read from the cockpit.

Reflective tape on the vane and tacking tabs improves visibility during both daytime and night sailing. The 10 in (25 cm) vane has been wind-tunnel tested to 80 knots and is supplied with a glass-reinforced polycarbonate J-Base that can mount to the side, top, or front of the mast on most dinghies, smaller sailboats, and sport boats. The complete indicator stands 9.25 in (23.5 cm) tall and weighs only 1.2 oz (31 g).
