Davis WindTrak 10 Sport Sailing Wind Vane

The Davis WindTrak 10 Sport is a masthead wind vane sized for dinghies, smaller boats and sport boats. Its vane is 10 inches long, and the whole unit stands just 9.25 inches tall and weighs 1.2 ounces. Light weight matters at the top of a small boat's mast.

The vane rides on a sapphire jewel suspension bearing. Its large fin and low inertia let it respond to light air. Fully adjustable tacking tabs help you read your angle to the wind, and reflector tape on the vane and tabs makes it visible day and night.

A glass-reinforced polycarbonate J-Base allows side, top or front mounting on the mast. Davis has wind tunnel tested WindTrak vanes to 80 knots, and installed properly they last for years.
