The CJRB Ria has a 3-inch satin 12C27 Sandvik stainless drop point blade, a blue-gray G10 handle, a thumb stud and a pocket clip, closing to 4 inches.

12C27 is one of Sandvik's older knife steels and still one of the most balanced, with a fine grain that takes a very keen edge and enough chromium to resist rust in daily carry. It gives up some edge retention against powder steels, and gets back a great deal of ease in sharpening.

Blue-gray is a muted color that reads closer to slate than to a bright handle, unusual in a category that runs either black or loud.
