C.E. Smith 30° Flush Mount Stainless Steel Rod Holder

The C.E. Smith 30 Degree Flush Mount Rod Holder is the angled version of the 80 Series swivel line, with a 10-1/2 inch tube.

Thirty degrees leans rods outboard rather than standing them upright. That spreads trolled lines apart so they do not tangle, and it keeps rod butts out of the cockpit where people are moving. A vertical holder does neither.

The angle also puts the rod tip further from the boat when a fish runs. That reduces the chance of line contacting the hull or the motor, which is where a hooked fish is most often lost.
