Russ Kommer is an Alaskan maker who built his reputation on hunting knives shaped by guiding work, and his designs tend toward blades that skin well rather than blades that look aggressive. The clip point here drops the tip below the spine line for control while keeping a long belly, which is the shape that follows from that.
