The Browning Prism 3 has a 2.38-inch black-finished 7Cr17MoV drop point blade with a purple aluminum handle and a liner lock, opened by thumb stud.
At 2.38 inches this is a small everyday folder, sized for opening post and cutting cord rather than heavy work, and light enough to forget in a pocket. Anodized aluminum is what gives the handle its color. The dye sits inside the pores of the oxide layer rather than on the surface, so it will not chip off the way paint would, and the process also hardens the metal.
