Blue Sea 8373 Water Resistant 6 Position Panel

The Blue Sea Systems 8373 is a 6-position water resistant panel in black, vertical mount, rated IP66 and CE marked.

Vertical mounting is the distinguishing feature. It takes a tall narrow strip beside a helm seat or on a console side where a horizontal panel has nowhere to go. The horizontal 8371 covers the other case with eight positions, so the choice is about the space rather than the circuit count.

IP66 covers water thrown by heavy seas rather than only rain, which is what an exposed helm actually sees. ON indicating LEDs are built into the Contura switches themselves, each push button breaker wears a waterproof boot, and a watertight gasket seals the panel so water cannot travel round the faceplate and in behind.
