Blue Performance Large Mast-Mounted Halyard Bag

The large Blue Performance halyard bag organizes rope tails at the mast so they do not have to lie loose across the deck. It holds up to three masthead halyards and has three internal hanging clips to keep them separated. An open collar at the top provides an entry point for the ropes. The long, narrow bag measures approximately 8.3 x 27.6 x 5.9 inches.

Hook-and-loop mast straps allow the bag to be secured near the lines it serves. A heavy-duty front zipper gives access to the interior, with an additional hook-and-loop flap across the opening. This arrangement makes it easier to sort or remove halyards without taking the bag off its mount. Check the mast location and rope runs so the stored tails will not interfere with deck hardware.

The ripstop fabric is waterproof, mildew-resistant, and UV-resistant. Its self-draining design lets water escape when wet halyards are brought back aboard. The 27.6-inch height offers more space for bundled rope than the medium version. Other line-handling accessories are available in Sailing Hardware.
