Blue Performance Large Free-Hanging Boat Sunshade

The large Blue Performance free-hanging sunshade creates a sheltered area on deck without requiring a permanent canopy frame. Suspended from a halyard, it can be positioned wherever the boat's rigging offers a suitable hanging point. Waterproof, reflective ripstop fabric provides UV protection. The large square shade measures approximately 63 x 63 inches.

Flexible batten sections support the shape of the shade. They can also be removed for compact storage after use. To set it up, feed the battens through their loops, seat them in the corners, and lift the center grommet with a halyard. Corner cords then let you secure the edges to nearby railing. The webbing reinforcement and polyester hem help finish the fabric edges.

The shade folds into its own compact storage bag when it is no longer needed. You can stow it between outings instead of leaving an overhead frame in the cockpit. Allow enough space around the shade for the corner cords and the movement of sails or other rigging. See more deck equipment in our Sailing Hardware selection.
